Founder

Jennifer Howe

Jennie had a creative vision and always knew that anything was possible, so moving to a new area with 4 kids and starting up an event business from scratch did not seem like an unmanageable task. It began in a double garage at her south coast residence which very quickly filled up with equipment, her determination and ambition lead this business to grow and grow into what it is today.Every single item that was purchased she made sure was of high quality and thought ‘if I was the customer would I be happy with this? ’On the 1st of May 2019 Jen was taken from us far to early and the heavens gained another angel. Her elegance and class still shows and will always reflect on this business as it continues to grow.

Founder & Director

Peter Howe

Peter has had experience in the event industry for over 30 years. He knew that he never wanted to work the 9 – 5 for someone else so after working for an event hire company in Sydney for many years he moved to the South Coast and created his own. After years of putting in the hard yards being the delivery guy, installation guy, cleaning guy, maintenance guy and the all-round muscle of the business his drive only grew stronger to make this the most successful company he could. Now today, 16 years on after Shoalhaven Party Hire was established, he can confidently take a step back (whilst still having his finger on the pulse) from the physical work and let his team of men continue forward.

Site Supervisor

Zachary Bye-Howe

Son of Jennifer and Peter, Zac has seen the persistence and energy that his parents have had to create this business and knows what it needs to keep growing. After working on and off for a few years for his parents he decided to go full time in 2013. In 2015 he decided to add to the event industry with his own Cool Room business which is now a branch-company off from Shoalhaven Event & Party Hire called ‘Howe Cool Mobile Cool Rooms’.

Office Manager

Gabrielle Howe

Like her brother Zac, she has seen from a very young age what it has taken to build the company that Shoalhaven Event and Party Hire now is. Gabrielle started working for her parents in 2016 doing the office administration which included all things accounts, logistics, communications and coordination – this quickly became of second nature to her. In September 2018 she proudly filled her mother’s footsteps and took over as the Office Manager.
